The global development community – the United Nations, G7, G20, OECD countries, development donors, international financial Institutions, multilateral development banks, and development finance institutions – estimate that trillions of dollars of investment per year are required in developing countries to achieve the SDGs.

Additional private finance is key to meeting this target. The GISD Alliance is engaging with key players to identify collaborative investment strategies and approaches between the public and private sectors that comprehensively address SDG financing needs.
